This is particularly evident where timber is affected by moisture, sun exposure and long-term wear.

Where replacement is the better long-term option, that can be identified during quoting or inspection. Depending on the original build quality, decks around ten years old and exposed to the elements unfortunately are often candidates for full rebuild.
